Question about electronic boost controller
I currently have an AEM EMS 2 with a manual turbosmart boost tee. Currently tuned on 12 psi. I'm planning on getting the AEM truboost electronic boost controller. Is it a direct plug and play? i want to keep it at the 12 psi that i'm currently tuned at.
thanks in advance
thanks in advance
The gauge has to be wired in properly and after you install it you may want to have your tuner look at your tune again. The boost may kick in at different levels with the TruBoost than it did with your manual boost controller. Here is some more information on how it is installed & wiring diagrams.

AEM truboost electronic boost controller? get the mack electronic boost controller its the same one they use and wire it to your aem ems and get it tuned . that what the ems can control your boost
A truboost/boost controller and a "boost solenoid" aren't the same thing.
OP, what are you trying to do?
You (most likely) just need to get a boost solenoid, and wire it in to the AEM EMS. You can get a MAC boost solenoid (which is what the AEM/Hondata/all others are) on ebay for $40 shipped, with all the fittings.
A truboost is overkill/redundant if you have an AEM EMS; it is more for people without standalones.

This is exactly what I did. Also the aem gauge is digital and will never stop moving, its rather annoying IMO,. I bought a Mac solenoid for $32 shipped on ebay-. Make SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT ONE. I can post the part # if u can't find it
