Something to keep in mind, which is the philosophy i hold (especially pertaining to this car) which is to keep it balanced. This is a great chassis to work with and its very capable out of the box, but when you up the power, you should be increasing the lateral grip capability along with it, as well as braking and general handling. Get more rubber on the ground for these reasons (assuming everyone is already running proper performing extreme summer comp tires) not just for strait line traction, which is only a small part of the whole picture.

Op, my honest suggest is get to the 400whp power level first, see how it is with what ya got then make a decision, because tryna guide you is like pleasing a stripper...
pleasing a stripper is pretty easy, all you need is a 8 ball.... the thing is im not sure if i even want 400whp, im trying to figure that out now if its possible to build a 400whp s2000 with out it becoming a squirrely mess, that has more power than grip , i want to retain some semblance of control and if that is not possible i might just stay n/a , i want to know if its possible to build a car that can blast through hi speed sweepers and hair pin turns with 400whp full throttle with enough rubber, like a stock s2k

I'm at 400whp maybe a little more and on 255's in the rear, 1st is unusable. 2nd only becomes a problem if I abruptly go WOT at higher RPM.

You could always get hondata traction control, but then you have to get kpro/flashpro.

You totally can, its totally usable power, you just have to respect it and you will learn where the new threshold of traction is. I miss having that thrust out of a turn at 60mph+ which is what essentially the supercharger does, is make your first gear feel like 3-4th gear. Everything happens quicker at faster speeds. But the power curve is much the same as stock so the longer you leave your foot on it the faster you accelerate, its not a trq monster, step on the gas and your sideways unless your in 1st and maybe 2nd gear, or are already at the threshold of adhesion in a turn and get too throttle happy too soon, but its predictable power for the most part. 350/10psi is where the supercharger really starts to wake the car up so start there if you are not too sure and then later get another pulley and tune and go for 400whp+, which to me feels about right, with a good set of tires. The more comfortable you get, the less the car surprises you and the more you typically want, its sort of addictive. Unlike a turbo, there is only so much you can get out of a supercharger on this platform. I think they are the best overall for canyon carving/road course work as well as DD reliability.

Yes I had my front and rear RPF1 cut and widened. There has been a few others since me that have done it also.

18's would generally be the preferred when moving beyond a 255 width. But there are compromises with either wide 17's or 18's, as long as you know what they are and factor that in to your decision.
got any pics of your 315/35/17?

I'm still running my 295/35/17 kumho xs but i will need to go up to the 305/35/17 soon.

with 400whp you really wont have traction problems with a standard extrem performance 255 size tire. espiceally with the low tq of a super charger. Its when your over 500whp on race gas/e85 is when traction problems start.

Here are pics of my 17x11.5 rpf1 with 295/35 tires

I have 430-450WHP 300ISH TQ I run 255 200 tread wear tires and yes 1st and 2nd are spin on demand but with aero once in over 50 mph its pretty easy to control on the street the track is a different animal. I plan to try running 245 in front and 275 in the rear with the nt05 . Looking at forgestar so I can stay 17". 400+whp supercharged is great like junky said keep the balance of the car.

Traction control is done by your right foot.
