What are the differences between the 00-01 Kit and the 02-03 Kit, they have diff product numbers? im looking to pick up an 02 kit from someone but was wondering if it will fit my01, what kind of modification is needed or is it a total no go?

 

Get it. Just make sure the bracket is the one with the rubber inserts.

 

so the brackets are the only diff? which one had the rubber inserts the 00-01 kit or 02-03 kit, do i just swap the brackets and im good to go?

 

The first generation tended to break. You want the later versions that are not subject to the vibrations and cracking. The one with the vibration insulation in the mounting.

 

LOL the kit WILL FIT.

Sidways is just saying be careful as there were older production kits that were made with solid brackets that were prone to breakage. (Ask me how I know). LOL
