hmm, i will check mine and you can try those first. if that works, then modify from there. possibley, your hearing relays click on off becuase the values are conflicting, so its turning on off on off constantly. im reaching but worth looking into.

This guy here had the same clicking problem and got rid of it by turning activation all off?

I just wanted to confirm this is how to manually control the radiator fans using the AEM EMS.

setup>air conditioner>options
AC request input = switch 6, gnd on
AC clutch = LS6
AC fan speed= disable
Rad Fan=LS8

options>configure outputs
Under output, select LS8 in the drop down menu
check basic activation and fill in values so it will always be active
check active under switched output configuration and select switch is always on
Finally go to function tab, select rad fan on the drop down menu and input whatever values you desire.

Anyone who is manually controlling their fans, what temps do you have them turn on and turn off?
Would doing this affect my AC working? I want my AC to still work as stock and at the same time have my rad fans turn on earlier..

guys I setup the fan control as above and it worked but I could hear 2 solenoids in the fusebox clicking.

I changed the LS8 options to disable basic activation which solved the issue.

With this setup the fans will activate even if the car is just keyed on with the motor not running and coolant temp is above whats set under rad fan.

I'm trying to do the above but for some reason I cannot see the:

setup>air conditioner>options tabs?

I'm on software revision AEM Tuner v3.2.

I can find the tools>output config tab and change the nessessaries under LS8 but just not the first part???

Has the software changed and now you just click on the LS6 tab and do it there?

What's the benefits of running both fan on consistently? Will it keep the temp down for a longer time period?

I wish this community was more active. Willl these settings posted here control the ac fan to come on with the aem? i no longer have ac and am trying to get the ac fan to come on with the main radiator fan. what i understand is that the ac fan is operated by the ac clutch switch.

Both fan are activated together as they share a common ground
