random questions

Hi all I am continuing with my build and would like to ask a few questions to anyone who has any experience with any of them. Please only chime in if you have first hand experience with the question and not any speculations thanks. I figured id ask these now to make sure nothing goes wrong when its time to bolt everything on and go to the tuner.

1.I have a canton oil filter relocator that I have notched to accept my precision 6262 (bottom mount, very close fit) and I was wondering which is the oil out/in for this relocator? Is the center hole of the oil filter area the oil return? (confused because ive seen people say both)

2. Is it safe to notch the frame rail directly to the side of the exhaust, and if so how much is a safe amount? Not sure if ill have to do this yet but the measurement looks pretty tight.

3. Does a torque damper stop engine movement in both directions? I plan on using two at the same time to make sure nothing moves since my turbo will be very close to the frame rail if it isn't notched.

4. How much will an intercooler effect the hp capability of a car? Id like to get a reasonable intercooler for the 500hp range even if im not getting those numbers with this build (sleeving another block to use later).

5. And related to question 4 what injectors/fuel pump would be a good fit for that hp range?

6. With a hondata k-pro does the stock air pump need to be deleted? If its preference would there be an advantage to deleting it?

7. Is there any special way to removing the exhaust cam gear on the engine? (needs to be replaced for kpro)

8. lastly if running a dual catch can setup. One feed goes from the head to a can then to the pre turbo intake pipe, But where does the second can hook up to?

Thanks everyone and I look forward to any replies! :D

i dont think you need to replace the cam gear for kpro, rather than the pulse gear on the backside of the engine.

get mounts over a torque dampener, id or fid 1000s for injectors, 255 or 340 fuel pump will be fine

Most ETD's are pretty stiff and resist movement in both directions. The spoon ETD is very stiff.

Yea I was gonna run these two since they mount in different locations.

How overall do the engine mounts change the quality of the ride? I don't want the car to shake/vibrate that much when going through the revs.

Sry its the exhaust cam trigger wheel. Heres one of the sources I was looking at for the install. So since its left hand thread that means I loosen it by going clockwise right? lol

Anyone ever notched the frame rail? interested in hearing any response. Anyone know how much room would be safe to have between my turbo and the frame rail? Im worried the compressor housing would bump the frame rail and destroy itself lol
