RPM built T56 S2k trans option

The worst part of the install is going up and down with the trans a few times and figuring out exactly where to tap some spots in on the tunnel. Other than that, It's pretty straight forward. A $6k budget will get you 90% of the way there with just a few more additions to purchase, like drive shaft, shifter, twin clutch, etc. I run the CC twin and you can do the same, they have a kit for this swap now but you'll need to get your throwout bearing through Clutchmasters or you can go with Spec twin and tell them you need the t56 discs to run with the s2k twin clutch.

Haven't gotten around to completing mine yet but did find out that we need the Import Muscle CNC adapter and RSX auto speed sensor, along with the Dakota. I believe you can get the Import Muscle adapter for around $125 and the Honda RSX auto speed sensor for about $80 elsewhere. The sensor number is 28810-P7W-004.

Was this ever figured out? Is the Import Muscle kit necessary?

Yes, it is needed to be able to get a signal off the trans for the speedometer. If you have an ECU like the Infinity, I believe you can use the ABS sensor to run the speedometer as an alternative option and I believe that is what Carey Bales is doing with my car and the Samsonas trans we ended up going with.
BTW, my brand new T56 setup is for sale if you know anyone interested. It comes with everything needed for the install, even the MGW shifter, IM speed sensor kit, rear mount, Quicktime scatter bell, etc.
