Default S.C. AP1-TurboSmart Kompact BOV

I just finished replacing the plastic Bosch BPV that came with the CT-E kit with a TurboSmart Kompact Dual Port BOV. It's a direct bolt on and was fairly easy to install. I have it venting to air.
After install:
-There was no CEL
-Installed the super soft spring (blue)
-BOV is set to hard, piston is open (98%open) @idle (blue spring)
--when set to soft piston is 100% open @ idle (blue spring)
----i might install the pink spring (harder) depending on the answer to this question: Should the piston be 100% open @idle or should it be open 50-60%@ idle. Thanks!

After the test run i notice two things:
1) The S seems to pull scary hard @ mid range. I was like WTH is going on!? I'm very confused.
2) Because of the harder pull along the mid range I began to get paranoid which led to me thinking I was running rich. I looked at my AFR gauge and notice its in the 11's after 4500RPM. Before 4500 it's showing 10s which is normal with ap1s, i guess we run rich down low. i went back and looked at my most recent dyno and i see my tune showing 11's (pic attached). i hope that I'm just being paranoid.
Questions:
-Why would the S pull harder with the new bov...? like where the hell has that been all my life harder???
-Would replacing the Bosch bpv with the Kompact bov and having it vent to atmosphere cause a rich condition along the power band?
-Should piston be 100% open at idle?
Thanks, ill be posting images/vid tomorrow.

Here's the vid with a few pulls. The pulls are not the best, i didn't feel like getting pulled over by CHP.

Maybe the other one was allowing air to escape?

The Bosch bpv that I replaced was recirculating. The car actually feels 100x times better. More responsive at throttle and stronger pull, kinda strange only because I'm not quite sure why the sudden improvement. I didn't know the swap would improve the S like that. I was looking at the AFR readings in the vid and they seem to be OK maybe a little richer? SMH
