Sneeze2K's 500whp turbo build
Suh dudes,
I have just about received all the parts to start my build so I decided to start a thread to share my progress. First, the car is a 2005 AP2 with 90k miles stock motor. I got this really fancy turbo kit from King's Performance in Orlando that was previously used on a build they did but I dont think it was ever mass produced. Have had the damn thing for almost 2 years before I got a DD and decided to get the rest of the parts. I'll upload some pics tomorrow but here's my current list:
front-mount tubular manifold (partially heat wrapped)
precision 6266 (i think)
3" downpipe (heat wrapped)
pretty big vibrant intercooler
tial WG and BOV
all v-band connections
bosch ev-14 (ID) 1000cc injectors
aem 320lph e85 fuel pump
omni power 3 bar map sensor
mac boost solenoid
ngk bkr8eix spark plugs
ACT HD pressure plate
OEM clutch disk
AEM series 2 EMS
AEM UEGO wideband and gauge
Sunpro boost gauge
My goal is to get about half of everything installed this weekend and anything left next weekend although when does that ever happen. It will be tuned on corn juice and im hoping for 500whp/320wtq @ ~14 psi.
Anyway, ill try to update the thread every day I do something and feel free to throw out advice/commentary because although I feel I did my homework, it's still my 1st turbo build. Cheers

i've been fearing that but i've been told 500whp is possible on stock pressure without going to an unsafe injector duty. there are a few guys that have done ~550whp but i know that they are really pushing it. can anyone chime in with their duty cycle on e85 with 1000cc?

Should have no problem running higher then stock fuel pressure. Id aim for 60-70 and go from there if you need to. Im not sure what the limit is for the AEM320 or how it compares to my FB340. I run 80-82psi.

I think he's going to be a bit out of pump at 70psi, it'll be close but I'd think for extra room to grow later 1300s would be a good investment.
Your duty cycle will probably something like 84%. Not terrible, but higher than "recommended".

took a few pics of the kit today after I finished wrapping the manifold and downpipe. Came out great IMO and should keep the heat a bit contained near a/c lines, fusebox, battery, etc.
i'm assuming this is how it will be mounted in the bay even though the o2 bung is in a weird spot to me
center housing has a little surface rust. sanding that and hitting it with a few coats of high temp ceramic paint tomorrow morning
here's the size of the intercooler going in
tomorrow my goal is to get this thing bolted in with all the piping and intercooler mounted. next weekend will be the oil system, fuel system, catch can, and other little stuff. then the weekend after should be clutch and tune!

Im making 526whp 358wtq on a mustang dyno on ID1000 and E85. You can get to 500whp on e85 with ID1000, but you need the fuel pump/pumps to back it up. A single 320lph pump probably wont get you there.
I dont know anyone else that has made more power on ID1000 and E85. Everyone told me i wouldnt make it to 500whp on E85 with ID1000.

This thread has 2 guys over 550whp on 1000cc

Im honestly just going to bring it there with a fpr and see what i can get without going over 90% duty cycle
