Default So it begins

Switching from sc to turbo. Got the 2 smooshed up pipe replacements and a Spall fan. This “ should be all the parts that were missing or damaged from the kit.

It’s a Comptech Novi1200, aftercooler, ecu (either AEM V2 or Haltech), ID 1000 injectors, carbon air box, a number of pulleys. The supercharger in new.
I haven’t put an ad up yet. I want to install and time the turbo kit then make sure I like it compared to the sc. I guess it will be quicker, but it’s hard to imagine

Very nice. Well let me know what you decide to do with the sc! Good luck

Will do. I decided to replace two of the other pipes to match the new shiny and polished replacement pipes so it’ll be a bit longer until I start the swap. I’ll contact you first before I post it.

You're doing almost exactly what I didn't a few years back. I had a SOS Novi1200 kit with the 3.2" pulley, making almost 400whp@15psi. Was stock exahaust with a HFC and drove pretty much stock. I bought the PTuning kit and at the same boost making almost 450whp and much more torque under the curve. The trade off is the urethan motor mount that makes the car ride a lot harsher and I went to a 3" single exhaust since the stock would have been a big bottleneck. Makes the car stand out a lot more and my wife isn't a fan of any drive over an hour - and it's pretty undrivable with the roof up. From time to time I think I should have stayed with the SC.

Thanks for the replies. I’m running an Invidia q300 exhaust now, so it’s already super loud. It’s no longer a daily driver and my wife has a Miata she likes to drive. Like your wife, mine hated the loud noise of the s2000. The turbo should be a lot quieter than the supercharger. That being said, I’m keeping the sc kit until I’m sure I like the turbo.

I'm hoping you like the turbo lol. I've been preparing for sc for a year now.
