S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

It’s a 2 piece pulley. There’s a center hub section and a ring. When you buy that you can simply order different diameter rings that bolt to the hub to change the sizing if you so choose afterwards; the bulk of the initial cost is the center hub section. It also doesn’t necessitate having to pull the whole pulley off of the supercharger input shaft like your typical 1 piece pulley, making for much faster and easier sizing changes in the future.

I got the SOS upgrade mounting kit for Comptech superchargers, it seems to use a different kind of tensioner system than SOS own kit.
Does Comptech style tensioner have more belt wrap or is it also in dire need of Griptec when using 3.2" or smaller pulleys?
Anyone got a link to the correct Griptec pulleys or are they special order?
I know LHT sells them but rather not deal with them.

I'm a little torn between the extra idler or Griptec, leaning more towards the Griptec since I wouldn't have to remove my bracket to drill a hole for the extra idler. Both options sounds good though. I'm slipping like crazy on my 3.6" and I tensioned it past SOS spec.

I called Griptec just to see what they offer and they have two options:

1. Send in your current SOS pulley and they'll remove the anodized coating ($80) and apply Griptec ($120).
2. Buy one of their Griptec SOS kit, part # VT340BB3K6 (this is the 3.4" pulley with SOS hub) $184. Currently backordered 1-2 weeks.

More belt wrap = less stress on current belt, significantly less slippage, and less belt dust.

If you want to do griptech, then do the blower and crank pulley. This will 100% solve your slipping issue. However, the more aggressive the pulley is, the more belt dust you will acquire.

I opted for the 3.4" Griptec pulley and here are the results. Kinda odd to only put out 4.2psi for these gains?

Novi 1220 on AP2 running 91 octane, ~4800ft. above sea level (SLC, UT)
-ACT clutch, AP1 flywheel
-Grams 1000cc injectors
-Hondata 4Bar map sensor
-Deatschwerks 200 fuel pump
-AEM V2
-Berk 63.5 test pipe
-stock everything else

Yeah, something doesn't sound right there. 372HP with only 4psi at altitude?

Right? Never heard or seen such a thing. Might have to call the tuner tomorrow to see what this means.

Called my tuner and he said that the sensor typically reads lower and I'm actually closer to 6 psi.

Weird, never heard of a supercharged 6psi setup make that much power. Almost positive SC needed 9-11psi to make that much. Turbo is another story so that’d be possible.

I wonder if the tuner tinkered with the dyno parameters. Something seems off. Like corrected it to compensate for the elevation, meaning its showing estimated power at sea level. But then PSI seems off. Who knows.

Also, unsure if that belt slip or he is pulling timing at the top due to low octane, because that dip in torque and flat HP is suggestive of one or the other.
