Default SOS question - small water pump for aftercooler has stopped working

Question for those with the SOS kit. There is a small water pump that sits behind the front bumper & is awkward to get to & is linked to the after cooler that has stopped working. I've had this happen before & it was just a bad / corroded connection but I am off to Italy from the UK next week & will be doing a lot of driving over 9 days and don't want to have any hassle. Does anyone know what type / model / make of pump it is or an aftermarket one that use to replace the SOS one?

I would just upgrade if you're going to replace it. I replaced my stock Johnson pump with the Bosch pump used in the SVT Cobras when I upgraded to the larger heat exchanger. It's also much more quiet.

I went with the same Bosch pump bought from Frozen Boost but I kept the small, original heat exchanger. I did not see much, if any, of an impact of the larger (1,200 lph) capacity with the smaller exchanger.

If you are interested in the stock small one, I've got one that I don't need anymore.

Best idea.

This is what hundreds of others have done, it's what you should have purchased before you installed it.
