That was exactly what I was upset with in my car. I was trapping 118/120 on ~450whp and still running 12's, lol.

Hitting 5th was like hitting a wall.

Looking good! Looks very similar to the Mase setup, just beefier and well thought out, this is how the old kit should have been done.

Any boost creep?
For the most part no. But in the higher gears depending on the weather, if you're trying to do some high mph pulls it may or may not get away from you. If you adjust the duty cycle accordingly it will hold fine. That is one the limits of the Hondata boost control - no PID setup. This is something AEM (I believe) has over Hondata in that department.

But for normal driving around town, no issues.

Great read.

I have very similar power output with and 1/4 mile times at the drag strip. 12.3 on street tires. I'm currently running a puddymod diff with a 4.3 I had back in my Supercharged days, but now its just too short for the turbo setup. I'm very interested in hearing your future review regarding your track experiences with the 3.9FD.

I've also love to get some more details on how you've braced your manifold if you don't mind sharing. Thanks!

Wow thats a trick setup . The harmonics you speak of are no different with the supercharged crowd and i doubt that you will ever get away from that . Im curious about the underhood temp readings but we shall see in the warmer months . Best of luck man !

dude, your pockets are deep...not many people could have stayed with this like you have. I really hope it runs good when you get the new diff in...much respect for your patience.

good re(build) thread! I've gone through the same issues that you have over the past few years and have done similar things to prevent cracks (ie. 3.91 puddy diff, cracked manifolds and down pipe and dump tube). I found i was able to lower resonance by utilizing the stock tranny mount brace that is used on the OEM header on my down pipe. Also, if you hear lots of vibrations, at specific RPMS, it is usually something that has cracked and is vibrating.

Looks like the sidewinder, wastegate and diff where the main problems... I feel for you. Good work on staying with it! They car sounds great.

So basically, our diffs are crap? What are you getting from Puddydaddy, a stage 2?

That's practically the whole car lmao

Are diffs are fine. Nothing will survive severe wheelhop. I'm only getting a 1.5+ from Puddy.
