Default Test pipe with supercharger?

Hey. Are you supercharger guys using test pipes???

I hear it gets really stinky and black smoke a lot if you use one with your supercharger??

any input?

It shouldn't be any different then running a testpipe on a NA s2k. It will still have that catless smell, and when you floor it you will see some black smoke. If that's not for you, then keep your cat in.

if you are running the vortech with the Black box and you add a test pipe, it will make you run very very lean.......

if your tuned it shouldnt be any differant than on an NA set-up

Id like for someone to describe technically why the back pressure of the cat causes more fuel to be dumped in. I cant derive an accurate description of the phonominon.

It doesn't. It's the other way around. Less back pressure causes it to run lean.

What is "phonominon?"

that's wierd i'm just on a stock vortech with no tune and i'm running rich and i have test pipe

i guess it's my 00 ecu that's keeping me running rich
