Installed a new Cusco front strut bar. Part number 381 540 A. This fits MUCH better than the GT Spec unit with the added lift plates. I can now close the hood again by dropping it from a low point. With the old modded GT Spec bar I had to push the hood closed due to clearance issues. I will get the blue end brackets powder coated to match soon. Ordered from Blackhawk Japan for $171.50 shipped (I also had a $25 coupon) via eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/CUSCO-Front...edirect=mobile

Ha! Great minds think alike huh? Do you have any seat time with them yet? Comments? I should get mine in before the end of this weekend.
I'd say noticeably more than stock and my previous HardRace streets. Only reason I got these is because it was rumored the Toda header wouldn't clear the OEM-style mount upper plate/heatshield thing without modification. I think this pic renders that bullshit, lol. Regardless, they're incredibly nice pieces....Hoping the NVH calms down a little after some miles on them.
Time for another clutch! I won't know for certain until it comes out in spring, but I'm pretty sure the disk is coming apart again like it did a few years ago. Competition Clutch stage 2 is junk! Very likely going to the SOS Sport 400 next.
Here's a picture of what happened before...I'm pretty sure its exactly what's happening again.
