Thumbs up Turbo kit rattling- who has it?

This poll is ONLY for rattling issues caused by turbo kits. If you have clutch rattle (or any other driveline rattle), please don't blame it on your turbo kit. If your turbo kit is from a major vendor, but you made custom piping on it that is rattling, please don't blame the manufacturer. This is NOT to bash any one vendor, but to help give new guys a good idea of what they're getting themselves into.

I've personally had two different turbo setups. One had absolutely no rattle (log style) and with the other one, I can't drive a block without having it drive me crazy.

The turbo kits kits are listed alphabetically and I have left off a few (A-spec, Rev Hard, Stage 6, Spugen, Spark Racing, etc) since they don't seem to be major/common kits. Please post in other/custom kits if you own one of them and leave the name of the kit in a post below.

Tim

I voted, but I must also say that I am down to the last rattle and I know that it is coming from the IC pipe touching the headlight brace (yet again, i've fixed it 3 times already).

Take a rubber hose, cut it down, wedge it between and use some zip ties. Fast, easy, ghetto

Hmm... Fast, Easy, Ghetto... sound like my kind of fix. Nice idea, it seems like no matter how much I dremel away it always finds a way to rattle. I'll try it out when I take the bumper off... again.

or you can just take the headlight brace out, the headlight is held up very fine without it.

i voted no for inline pro, i do have a slight rattle when a heavy person sits in the passenger seat because the exhaust hits the floor but my exhaust was custom done

I just take some old radiator hoses I have laying around and cut a slit down the length of the tube and just fit it in. I do it for all my SS hoses and piping that touch anything. I've had no issues. On parts with sharp edges where vibrations would actually cut through the rubber hose, I actually wrap the rubber hoses around the sharp edges instead. You can't see any of mine anyways and it keeps me perfectly rattle free.

Have you checked the bolts on the downpipe?

I'd bet some of the "No's" might not know it rattles due to loud exhausts

By the way you should know my answer based on my 6 page thread
