Turbo oil feed and return - Gravity?

I have my Inline Pro kit which I will be installing this week and have a question. I mounted the turbo to the manifold as I mocked up the install in the house and then realized the oil feed lines go opposite direction I would have expected.

Is it correct for the feed to go in the bottom of the turbo and the return come out the top? One would think that the oil would drain better if it came out the bottom.

loosen all the bolts and clock it until oil feed stays on top.

I knew something was off. Thanks for the help. Also, what do you think of the tan carpet?
