I am running Hondata - 2003, strait 3" custom exhaust

I heard the gtx30 makes 50 more hp with my setup. Of course much more if I do e85, which isn't an option because I don't have easy access to e85 in NJ

That's easy strip the car. Less weight. The free solution.

Maybe it's tuned to only make 10psi in first for traction, and 10psi in second to keep second gear from shredding. It's the s2ks weak point.
if it runs good, I would'nt retune. There's so much more you can do with $650 dollars

Keep first gear capped at 10psi, go for 14psi in 2nd or remove all together and then run a water/meth injection kit and up the boost a few more psi overall. Make that $650 retune count for something. Otherwise I wouldn't even bother.

Is it too late to suggest not to get it retuned? I donno what your current setup is making but i would say 16-18psi on 91-93pump is probably the highest youd want to go. Unless you change something in your fueling system, i dont see why you would need a retune if everything is running good at the moment. If anything, just raise the boost duty cycle in second by 1% at a time until its at your desired psi. $650 just to adjust boost by gear levels sound like a ripoff to me....and unnecessary to do a full retune esp if it was already properly done by the previous owner.

Don't open pandoras box. Sounds like a solid setup leave it be. Messing with boost in first and second will lead to premature drive train failure. You have to make it up on the big end of the track if you want more trap. Aka race fuel or e85. Of those are not an option then leave it be.

Run meth injection to help cool motor since u don't want e85. U could turn up the boost a little if u want. This is more of a safety thing than adding tons of powa.

I just dyno'd mine and immediately asked what to do when 440whp isn't enough. My tuner told me run a 3" (depending on your turbo) intake pipe to get outside air and just put a turbo guard on it. $50 worth of parts should drop intake temps

You can do a throttle body upgrade with a ported/upgraded manifold.
