Default Upgrading fuel system ideas for NOVI 1200/1500

Hey guys and gals,
This thread is mainly to map ideas for possible directions to upgrade the fuel system and MY needs My current set-up(ID1000s, stock fuel regulator, rail, and lines, DW300 fuel pump, KPROv4) as been awesome for what I have now, however, it will not be enough for my goal. We all know SC's require more fuel to make power. My current injectors ID1000 will be the first to limit me, shortly after my current pump will. Problem is we have options ID1300, ID1700 and ID 2000 for higher power applications, but comes with the sacrifice of closed loop drivability for ID1700& 2000s, which for my goal these are my possible options, but not final. After injector option would be to get another rail with another set of ID1000cc injectors, Hondata's injector driver https://www.hondata.com/injector-driver and program the second set to come on at a certain load or duty cycle. I'm leaning more to this route as closed loop would be 100% better than with either ID1700/2000 injectors...I hope. The only hiccup I can foresee would be the secondary rail placement on the stock intake manifold. I am unaware of a weld-in kit. Next up, the pump. The upgrade I have in mind is the SOS 450 pump kit option. I choose the 450 pump as I have a e85 station 5-6miles away from my home and would love to be able to use the flex fuel option within KPROv4. I would also use the SOS flex fuel kit as well. Please give your insight on this possible set-up or a more efficient/ effective set-up. Please keep in mind, closed-loop operation is NEEDED as well as able to support 500whp++ Thanks!

Ok so a lot of views and no other posts aka the new norm, anyway here is a potential cost breakdown on some of the items to get this rolling.

Walbro 450 pump and mounting kit--$220
Wiring kit for pump--$65
Flex fuel kit--$265
Fuel pressure gauge--$60(dime a dozen could be cheaper)
Another set of ID1000cc injectors--$480(could find a used set for cheaper)
Hondata injector driver--$395
Another fuel rail--$140(could find another used stock fuel rail to modify and use)
Extremely rough estimate not included--$1625 plus/ minus

An alternative,
Walbro 450 fuel pump and mounting kit--$220
Fuel pump wiring kit--$65
Flex fuel sensor kit--$265
ID1700/ 2000cc injectors--$1000/ $960
Rough total estimate--$1550 plus/ minus, still with no closed loop function and low load hedaches

You could just do what I used on my T-trim/1500 set up; no need to reinvent the wheel. 530+whp flex fuel with a Walbro 450, Fuelab fpr @ 43psi with an adapter for the stock rail and FIC high-z 1650cc injectors. I eventually got them idling great at 15.5 afr at 1000-1100 rpm on a 2.0 liter.

Shameless plug, I'm selling the FPR and injectors - https://www.s2ki.com/forums/forced-i...uelab-1175437/

With your setup is closed loop activated? Short and long term fuel trims?

A flex fuel sensor is $65 and a walbro 450 kit can be had for $125, relay and harness another $12...all on amazon

just take note I listed the SOS kit(s) as they are complete with everything you need to bolt on and tune fittings, fuel pump mounts, and all

Go big or go home. 1/2 ptfe line and 3/8 return with a 450 pump. More feel more power.

Understandable, What is the fuel pump mount you speak of though? the 450 slides right into the stock hanger?

$550 the SOS route or $200 if you just buy the stuff separately

that's an option too, since starting this thread I've been reading more about this only issue is it may be overkill for my setup

pretty sure the 450pump does not fit the stock fuel carrier...
