i don't understand how some people get this much TQ. When I was at 11.5psi with my vortech, I made 355whp and only 209wtq

12:1 is plenty rich for VTSC setup. once you go back to stock id get retuned and and lean it out a bit.
12:1 is rich? With the summer temps I would prefer to be in the low to mid 11 range. I would be afraid to boost if my car was hitting 14's anywhere under the RPM range.

I agree here. Looking at my ap1 dyno sheet im as lean as id ever want to be. After installing an vortech kit in an ap2(with the 5th injector)and dynoing it i was pleasantly surprised to see how rich it ran. Ive been waiting for this new aem piggyback system but now i have some different ideas.

Batikan , ive installed three vortech kits now and they all made very simular numbers with my ap1 making the most .The ap2 i just finished made 200 lbs wtq. Perhaps you were not getting the advertised boost level??

good numbers, but I figured another 15 lbs at least of torque.

Exactly... Unless I see a dyno I won't believe it. My 10psi setting on my turbo hits 305hp and only 205 torque.

Although my torque is at the peak around 4500rpms and maintains the line all the way through to redline, which is what really matters.

I am running an eManage Ultimate and driving a 5th injector off of the sub/inj map. Was planning to use the AEM F/IC, but when they started having some issues with the timing control I decided to try out an Ultimate.

With the AEM F/IC I would still need to use a seperate box to control my 5th injector and could not use AFR feedback to tune the maps. Plus I have found that the IAT correction map (timing and fuel) on the Ultimate is a big help in dealing with the big temp swings we have here in Arizona - the AEM F/IC does not have an IAT correction option.

You have to consider the relationship between TQ and HP.

TQ = HP * 5252 / RPM

If you have 305 peak HP at 8000 rpm - you are only getting 200 ft*lbs of TQ

If you make the same HP at 6000 rom - you are making 266 ft*lbs of TQ

That being said - you could have a car that hits 400 HP and only making 233 ft*lbs of TQ. Really depends on where your HP is.
