Default Vortech Mounting Plate

Turns out my bracket that is sandwiched between the vtec solenoid and the head has spiderline cracks in it which is causing oil to leak. Anyone know where I could source em? I've called Vortech and they said that the kit is discontinued and they have no more brackets. They mentioned calling up Comptech and SOS but I have yet to hear back from them and they weren't sure if it would fit. Missed out on an autocross and now looking like I'll miss Wekfest as well

Thanks in advance!

Ditto. It sucks that they're discontinued now. They said they weren't selling due to sos and Comptech sales.

I got a few estimates from some local machine shops and they said it could be around $400

I had a problem where my car wouldn't Vtec. Turned out same problem but mine got clogged with some sealant. I called Vortech and they were still making the brackets (this was about 8 months ago). Seems to be a design flaw. Alot of stress on that bracket

They should have them in stock. I believe they just got a batch in a few weeks ago.

Looking at pictures, I believe the Comptech/ Sos mount couldwork. You will need to modify it though. The plate side of the mount will have to be cut so the overall length is shorter. Then you will need to tap it for the Vortech bolts. You'll need to block the oil feed hole and lastly you'll need shorter studs or use the 3 Comptech/sos bolts since the mount is thinner than the Vortech piece.

Hopefully it will line up with the Vortech plate bolt holes. If not, you'll have to drill the plate as well.

SOS got back to me and they said that they use a much different bolt pattern so no go on that. The people at C-T Engineering are looking at the possibilities from their side so hopefully that works.
