Default Want 500 hp and a smooth engaging clutch? We have your solution here!

Developed from our NSX Sport Clutch Program, the S2000 Sport 400 Hybrid Clutch Kit is the synthesis of high torque capacity and smooth engagement.

Since 2002, ScienceofSpeed has been selling and installing various aftermarket clutches for the S2000. In our experience, aftermarket clutches have often had too stiff pedal pressure or too harsh of engagement. Based on our popular S2000 Sport 325 Clutch Kit - with more than 500 clutches installed in S2000s around the world - the 400 Hybrid a unique organic / cera-metallic disc facing design to achieve high torque capacity with excellent driving characteristics.

Great to have more options. I daily drive the sos carbon twin disc and I think the drivability is great.

Wish this was around when I did my clutch I have installed 2 of the sport clutches and love how easy the pedal effort is compared to my act hdss . I am making around 450 whp and 300+tq so I was afraid I would smoke it with 280+ tq from 5700rpm to 8100rpm. glad you guys came up with something between sport and the dual carbon as that would have been my next clutch I was worried about the wear on the street sense most of my driving is spirited backroad or long trips and the monthly s2ki meets local to me.

Fills a nice niche in the market for an aggressive duty street disc clutch above the sport clutch option. 400lb trq covers a very sizable base of S2000/FI enthusiast Look forward to hearing some feedback on how it feels and wears short/long term.

Been running the sport PP for many years with an oem disc. The sport disc that came with the sport PP i found was too grabby and didnt last very long. OEM disc combo with that PP feels just like OEM. But at roughly 300lb trq holding ability its only good for majority of superchargers and not turbo or stroked options.

Sorry, we do not sell the disc separately as the pressure plate is designed to work with the disc's release characteristics.

But the pressure plate is the same in the Sport 325 and Sport 400... Its always boggled my mind why we can't buy replacement friction discs for these clutches. Its a wear item... you need to be able to buy a replacement friction disc without having to buy a new pressure plate.

A used pressure plate should not be used with a new disc - this is why we sell them as a set.
