Default Weight differences

Just curious if anyone weighed there cars when they had a supercharger and then when they had a turbo. If there was a significan't amount of weight difference. I know when my supercharger was being shipped it was about 80 lbs with the box and everything. For some reason my turbo has more parts but made my car feel lighter up front as far as turn in compared to my comptech. My comptech felt alot heavier. I guess this is for anyone of those guys on the track.

You also have to consider placement of all the parts.

oh please...I just pulled off my supercharger and, with all the fittings and brackets. It's insignificant weight. Turbos are right there too...maybe 10lbs? You gram counters out there had better be stripped to the bone and using carbon fiber body panels before you honestly start thinking that your 10lb power adder (MAYBE 15 at the absolute most) is screwing up the balance of your car. Hell...relocate your battery and be done with it if you're that pressed.

just looked it up...the Paxton Novi 1000 weighs 5.7 lbs...I can't imagine any turbo or supercharger is not within a lb or 2 of that.
