Default What HP should I expect?

Old set up:

Stock 2.0
AEM FPR
Radium Fuel Rail
Walbro 255lph
1300cc injectors
Novi 1000 blower
3.4" pulley
Small heat exchanger
E85

Made 360whp

New set up:
Walbro 450lph
2.8" pulley
Large heat exchager

What HP should i expect when I retune? I'm trying to get to 450. Or as close to that as possible.

The NV1000 drops off in efficiency pretty quick after your 3.4" pulley. I'm surprised though that you only yielding 360whp with that pulley which should have put you about 12psi, especially with a proper E85 tune. I made 360whp Dynojet at 9psi on that blower. and 375whp with the 3.4". regular 92 gas. Anyway, I wouldn't expect you to see much more then 400whp assuming you get a proper tune. Belt slip may be a factor for you in getting the full results as well. Although in 4th gear for dyno pulls its not as big of an issue as the lower gears due to the rate the engine spools up.

I'm curious to see what you make though. I tried a custom 2.7" pulley on a Novi1000 years ago just for shits and giggles but never dynoed it.

I'll make a guess of 410hp

Can you get the blower updated to a N1200?

He could with the SOS adapter plate. Then 450whp would be possible.

Well then he should definitely do that but it would probably cost him $800 for blower? and $200 for plate?

Cheapest I found when I did the upgrade was through SOS. They got me the blower for $1700 and the adapter plate was $300. Paxton wants near $2500 for the same blower, but then tell you they will give you a credit of $500-$1000 for your trade in blower depending on condition. I decided not to bother and ended up selling my blower to someone for $300.

When I was S/C’d, I traded in my N1220SL for a N1200 oil-fed unit. I think cost be around $876 total. You might want to give them a call to see if you qualify for a trade-in. I thought I read something years ago that N1000s wouldn’t be able to be traded in, but hopefully that wouldn’t be the case. You will need your serial number from the blower.
