Very cool.
Have you set the stock trans up next to the 350z trans yet? I bet that 350z shifter is set at least 6 inches further back than the stock trans. Do you think you will be able to adjust the 350z trans' shifter further forward to match the stock trans location? It also looks as if the 350z trans is fairly plump. I sure hope you can easily get it into the tunnel with no modifications.

200 bucks, prolly gonna buy this instead of cutting down the stock one. It takes out 4 inches, if thats too much a stock bracket could be cut down instead.

Cant wait to get my car running now, if the trans shifts ok at high rpm I'll be stoked. I wanted to see this adapter made cause my buddies use the Z trans in their drift cars. 2 of them run them in their formula d cars and they love it. One friend roland broke a trans every event until he got the z transmission in his car and now its been solid. Even if its slower to shift I still just didnt want to be afraid of letting the clutch out everytime.
For the clutch I was shown this spacer that was made for another trans conversion, it looks like a simple solution. I am gonna talk with mazworx a little more and see if they think cutting the bellhousing down could be done instead cause thats how the conversion is done for other motors and it seems to work fine. If not this will still work.

Talked to eric and mark, they recommended just going with a spacer to keep it simple. They gave me some dimensions and I'm gonna give comp a call shortly and see what they say.

Only one way to really find out, and I will. Sound performance said in a post that he slow shifted his car to a 9.30 or something like that with the stock trans and the car had a lot of passes on it.
