Amuse lip problem

Default Amuse lip problem

well guys i just got my amuse lip installed(replica) well it turns out theres little gaps well there was an s2k here in my tonw not too long ago and it had an OEM lip and it had like a little black rubber filling between it and the bumper, i justwanted to know if yall knew where to find this little rubber filling or what can i use to fill it in thanxs alex. heres a pic of it.

May I suggest what I used. I used marine caulking (for boats)

Its white, and doesn't fade or turn yellow from UV, came out awsome and looks like an OEM fitment.

where do u buy that at, and can u tell the color difference between it.

You can buy it at any marina. Just make sure its an outdoor grade that's UV resistant.

Unless you're nose is touching the bumper, you can see it. I ran a seal all the way across to get a uniform look. You could probably get away with just filling those gaps on the corners.

If you put some washers inside the wheel well it will close the gap. Put washers between the lip and the bumper where you mounted the screws on the side.

exactly what i did
now it fits like a glove (in the front)
use little blocks of rubber

That is just how these lips fit, both replicas and authentic. I've had both. I still have gaps too, I have put things behind the bumper, but my current replica is pretty warped (from folding it under the car ) so I just try to live with the gaps until i can try to mount it again.
