Default Blue + Gold + Stretch

sorry bout the thread title, im really not that great with those....

so my buddy picked up a set of Work 3-piece Meisters in gold the other day, invited me over to test em out.
man, i love the amount of lip on these things!!

now, im not one for played out color combinations *coughsubbie*cough nor am i a fan of stretch.... but well, we both wanted to see these wheels on my car so here we are!

a few disclaimers:
- ungodly wheel gap in the rear. sorry, the stretched tires didn't take up as much fender gap as normal tires would and im also not as low as i'd like anyway o well
- lots of chips on the front bumper i know, but that still doesnt stop me from going to track days.
- pic was taken literally less than an hour after i took off my roll bar (gold rollbar i think would've gone good with the wheels) o well, thats what impromptu wheel fittings do for ya
- sorry if you were expecting pro pics

comments welcome, flame away.

her usual running gear:

here're the wheels on his car for reference (the car is for sale btw) :

From an aesthetics standpoint... I'm sorry those fenders, side diffusers, and rear quarters are ummm, not attractive in the least bit. Then I scrolled down and saw it on a track, so

The dish is nice yeah . I'm just not a big fan of stretched tires . And the ungodly wheel gap in the rear puts me of . It doesn't need to be hellaflush our something like that . But a bit smaller gap would be nicer imo .

@ whiteflash: its ok to flame, just cuz its at the track doesn't make everything groovy

@ deskx22: now that i looked, i dont have many pics of his s13 in my comp... altho i should since i painted it
but here's one while it was being wetsanded:

@ sofresh: i dont really have any close up pics of the taillights but yeah, i took them apart, drilled out the amber (little did i know it -the red ring + amber- is one solid piece), replaced with lexan, and put it back together with an led that flashes red
older pic showing the lights again (man im such a pic )

@ HRS: yep, pretty much exactly my thoughts... im thinking of kicking out the spring perch on the bilsteins now

Well I'm glad you're welcome to criticism

However, it's nice to see that the function is being put to use, thus... it makes it worth it
