If they came in gold from Spoon everyone would be saying DOPE DOPE TITE TITE. I don't think Rotas are rice at all, its the car you put them on. What is rice are the spinner hubcaps.

Someone explain to me what changing the color of a wheel has to do with being "rice"? BTW, you can get the SW388 equivilant wheel in white, silver or gunmetal from Desmond/Regamasters(although I think Desmond is out of business), who makes the wheel for Spoon.

Do it man. Don't bother with asking for opinions... everyone's car looks the same because everyone thinks the same on here. Do what you want, its your car..

Personally I think you should be thinking of suspension/lowering before you think about powdercoating for looks..

Are those 16" work emotions you have on there JsAP1? Those were my first choice, but I got tired of playing the waiting game.... it's also probably why I am curious of what these would look like in gold

And that is my life for ya.... It's ok, these handle like a dream and that was the main objective. As far as suspension/lowering.... I have been a bit hesitant in that department so far because there are so many deep dips and tall speed bumps here at the base I am stationed. I don't think my lip would last too long. We'll see though.

Ahh I see. You know, I had the same prob with roads, so I opted to lower just about 1.5" You could always go with adjustable suspension, even though at times the highest setting could still be a 2" drop.

Good luck to ya tho
