Talking Have your car rendered in 3D

Hello everyone,

I am working on a 3D real estate project that is allowing me to model some cars to go in front of the houses in my renderings. I have a set of plans for the standard S2K, but I am interesed in modeling some different body kit styles as part of my own personal enthusiasm as an s2k owner. If anyone can get me some good front, side and rear images of interesting setups, I would greatly appreciate it. When done I will post my rendered images for download for anyone interested.

Photo Requirements:

Image needs to be taken 90 degrees and centered in width and height to prevent skewing. Also, you will need to stand far away and use a zoom to prevent as much perspective warping/fish-eye as possible. Images need to be between 1024x768 to 1280x1024

to give you some idea here is the print I am working off of:
http://www.the-blueprints.com/modules/bpvi...view.php?nr=432

If I use your car/setup in any of my work, I will send you a link as to where you can see it and have some bragging rights for your friends...

please contact me through this forum and I will give you my email address as to where to send the images.

Time permitting:
I am also a virtools developer and may put the cars in a driving simulation on the web. If I decide to do this, I will update everyone as to where they can find this as well.

Thanks to anyone who participates.

Why not post some example of the pictures you need?

That's just it. I dont really have any images. What I am working with is a blueprint sketch of the AP1 body and the photograph from the back of the 2005 brochure.

What I would like is different bumper, lip, wing fenders, etc. but the image have to be shot as described above.

Here are screen shots of my model in process. This may help you understand the application of the image and what I need. Notice the planes behind the hood model that have car images on them.

The sketch:

and with the Photos:

Hope this helps...

Great stuff.

How about do a drawing where the S2000 has an OEM lip, OEM side strakes, and OEM spoiler to go along with the hardtop you have on it...

Keep me posted on this. When you get a final model done, I can run a CFD analysis on it...

Search for "Aerodynamics" and you will find at least three of my past threads

I'll put up another post when it's done. I have the front fenders and hood complete. I got pulled onto another project at work so for now I am doing this one on my own time. That should change back in a few days.

If someone can tell me how to upload pics into the message body, I will post screen shots of my progress. Maybe I'm just too geeky to figure out the image attachment thing...
