Yep I have to agree with "learnerspermit" about the quality of the exhaust, I've dealt with many JDM manufacturer before and I am sure most of them outsource their parts to other factories. I have to admit that they have a really bad quality control on their exhaust for some reason. It's all matter of business standards.

The price doesn't reflect the quality, even for J's.

Yes, it's "cheap" exhaust line from thier Titanium, but 900+ for a single SS is still expensive in my books and those welds don't justify the price.

I believe the J's is a small shop that sub contract out some or most of thier exhausts to keep up with demand.

I don't understand how HKS, Greddy, etc can pump out exhausts for a lot less and yet keep thier qualitity standards high, where J's needs to cheap out on the welds and still be hundreds more expensive then their competition.
ive owned 2 J's Racing 70RR in titanium, a J's Header and like a trunk full of other J's shit and ive never had a bad weld.

looks like the new stainless crap is well...crap

ill stick with the titanium J's Racing

Yea there has been when you order it from someone else, this was ordered straight from J's through Leo. He had been speaking first hand with them directly as this exhaust had major delays and stuff. I will be sending an email question the quality but at the end of the day I know for a fact it's genuine.

Just because the welds are crap doesn't make it a replica even cheap $200 exhaust off ebay have nice welds but they are all machine welds.

The fake J's exhaust don't have the badge and hole for the silencer.

I'm not fond of their carbon quality either, I have a J's racing Intake and their quality is pretty low compared to other airboxes I've seen.

I still love J's Racing however LOLL!
So, I don't understand why you continue to order parts from these people despite openly admitting that their quality is subpar? Blows me away. Why, because its J's Racing and made in Japan? Fanboyism never ceases to amaze me.

I didn't want to open a new topic... I have a small question about J's racing FX70RS Dual Exhaust.

Is piping; 70mm to 60mm or it is 70mm to 50mm just like AMUSE EURO 70 22W TI EXHAUST

Thanks

I never knew that J's made a 70 dual...

I thought the FX series' are duals and the RS/RR series' are singles?

I know a buddy of mine has a J's 60FX dual on his '02...
