Joshua Tree shoot with new rims white/gold
I have been waiting for the weather to cool down in Joshua Tree so I could go shoot my car. RPF1 17x9+45 with a 255 Federal RS-RR all around. Driver side is custom powder coated gold. The gold did not turn out how the samples looked so I'm looking for a better shade of gold. I really like how the white (also custom color) turned out, I was not expecting that. Front fenders are OEM with all metal flare, rear is rolled and pulled.

Still have my S. A while a go I parked it and started to part it out. It sat for several years, only dove it a few hundred miles a year. A few months ago I got some new parts for it and detailed it. The weather was finally nice so I took it out for a shoot.

In person they look more bronze and not very glossy. They are very similar to the gold color enkei offers. I wanted them to look like my gold ce28n. The powder samples they had for this color online looked exactly like what I wanted but the finished product looked nothing like the images. I contacted the company but they tried to blame me for the mistake saying it could be my monitor or my calibration is off or some thing like that except I'm a professional photographer and know a few things about color. They sent me a sample swatch in the mail and it matched my rims exactly but was not even remotely close to the color they advertise online. After I explained all of this they went silent. I cant find another company that has the gold I want. Some companies have a gold but it is usually a transparent spray over a polished rims, makes it look like gold chrome and that is not the look I want.
