One more thing that i would like to add is that centering the car in the photo is usually not the best place for it. Try visually splitting the frame into thirds and put the center of attention in one of the three areas. Look at how effective the yellow s2k pic posted above is. One of the main reasons is that the picture has a lot of tension because of the effective placement of the car. Try just moving the car off center, you will be surprised at how much more "alive" the photo becomes.

I have a question though...how do you make the picture look so, I don't know, vibrant and shiney yet subtle? Is it just photoshop skill or is it like an expensive lense?
I see many pictures that have these qualities and I wish I could replicate them but I've never really been able to. Any tips?
