My favorite one from the day has to be the green Formula car that was in the pits. He said it was the only one of that era/class in the country. They had it restored a couple of years ago and sent it back to the company in England to do so. It was out on the track for a minute but I think it had an issue so he pulled off.

Thanks for sharing! I was at the event as well, but your photos are awesome to look at now. Gotta love the sound of the Camaros revving to 8500RPM, but my favorite class to watch is always the Formula B's. I'm going to forward a few of your photos on to one of my customers - he owns the Argo JM19C LMP car you got a few photos of. Thanks again!

Yeah the camaros were screaming. IMO that white Vette was by far the meanest sounding car out there. I was talking to one of the techs for a while, he said they were rounding that one out to around 8800+/- I think. If you want the original higher-res copies of those photos for your customer pm me.

I don't think he was pushing that one too hard. The GT40 they had seemed like it was getting a workout though.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Looks like a great event! Thanks for the pics.

Side note: lower your shutter speed for the shots of the cars that are moving. Most look like they're practically parked on the racetrack.
