My S is lowered to -25mm. I bought a downforce, I wait to receive it.

I'm also afraid to rub everywhere with it... :-/

I took like 15 minutes to scroll past that GT3. I'm still drooling.

Can't wait to see what you do to the S!

Welcome back! Looking forward to your review on the Ohlins from the perspective of a spirited back roads driver. I'm not quite sure if I'll ever make it to the track, so I want to see if the upgrade would be worth it even if they're not being pushed to the limit. I'm on stock CR suspension at the moment.

Your cars are nice. But that garage is on another level!

Default Dialing in the Interior and Lowering the Seat

I knew before I found the car that I'd need to lower the seat. I may end up with an aftermarket seat someday, but for now I don't want to deal with that search. Buying aftermarket seats opens up a whole slew of problems for me. Getting proper seat rails, dealing with sensors, and most importantly fit. It's not like you can head down to the local store and test fit a bunch of seats. If I were 5'8", 160 it would be easy. But 6'2", 235 makes it difficult. I decided to take a flyer on buying from Nengun direct from Japan. Evasive and other dealers don't have them in stock, so it would take months to get one. Buying form Nengun was an amazing experience I had them in about 3 days after ordering. The boxes were in better condition than if they shipped from Miami to me in North Orlando.

Rails were $227 each, shipping DHL was $125, and premium insurance was $46. I had zero customs issues and got great email updates direct from DHL. I was able to pre-sign for it online and have it dropped right off at my front door.

I don't know what I was thinking but the passenger rail and Right-Hand-Drive rail are not the same thing. So don't do that. I wasted my money on that one.

Here is a look at the tears that I'm going to have to do something about at some point.

I'll probably have the seats sanded and painted to take care of the rust if I have them reupholstered.

My Euroboutique steering wheel.

Passenger seat rail fail.

While the seats are out I decided to do a Leatherique Treatment to the seats. I stole this process from Todd Cooperider at Esoteric.

Driver's seat and position sensor.

Seats look darn good clean.
