Default My First S2k

Just picked up my first S2k yesterday. I had an Integra before with a lot of work into it. Fully Built Turbo blah blah blah.... but it got stolen.
So with receipts for all the upgrades and the car itself I was able to get a good chunk of money from my insurance and buy this bad boy.
Hope to be modding it soon but right now it is virgin.
I took off the fender emblems but that is all for one day of ownership.
Enjoy the pics:

What's the story behind that cool statue in the background?

Yes, to debadge I used Waxed Dental Floss and WD-40, although you can't see anything on their when I rub my fingers over it there is still a bit of roughness and in certain angles of light I can still see a little bit of residue.
WD-40 will not take this off, any other suggestions?
The pictures were taken at Haynes Point in DC.
The statue is called the Awakening of Man I believe.
I am planning on going back to get my car between the legs and arms of the statue but last night was too muddy to try.
