while im waiting for my volks to arrive via UPS i decided to start a little project. project kics lug nuts are known to have rusting issues (i pay attention to every little detail) so i decided to take some gloss black paint and do the insides on the lug nuts so i dont have to worry about any rusting, i also plan on doing a clear coat over the lugs to also protect them.

So thats why my kics started puking rust!!! How did you tape them off so that no paint got on the outside?
well in my spare time when i was younger i used to build model cars and i had little bottles of paint laying around, i found one that was gloss black and used a tiny paint brush

so i had to take off the volks this morning before i went to work because i couldnt drive the car -__- i couldnt even turn the fronts without rubbing mainly because i need an alignment to dial in more camber and i need a flare in my front fenders (i have all 4 of my fenders cut for maxium clearance already) they will be back on in a few days though! my greddy spectrum elite will also be coming in today but i wont be able to put it on till the weekend because im going to be busy flaring my fronts...updates soon!!!

Also, won't there be problems with the studs rusting too?...maybe you should coat them as well.

WOW! That looks amazing. I have your old RPF1's on my car now also w/buddy clubs haha just got an exhaust as well (Ti-C Single).

Jeff (minitoyota) did my fenders (roll and pull on all 4 fenders, bumper tab, etc) and did an awesome job.

We should do a photoshoot sometime of our cars or something (both in Jersey)

again, LOVE the new setup, looks awesome.

i can try to take some the best i can explain it though is the little lip that folds up inside the fender i cut that off so the fender is flat now, get it? the specs are all messed up the passenger side has more camber than the drive side for some reason...its around -1.8 in the front and in the rear one side is near 4 and the other is closer to 3

i thought of that but i think taking them on and off will just take the paint off
