NSXPO 2017 @Road America, wanted to share some pics from Real Time Racing Museum
Being a Honda fan for almost nearly 2 decades now (yes I'm old), I never really understood the full history of Honda till recently. We were out in Elkhart Lake, WI for the NSXPO event and Peter Cunningham was gracious enough to open his Real Time Collection museum for us to check out.
To say it's amazing is an understatement. Besides being an awesome driver, Peter is one of the most gracious guys I have ever met. He took time out of his busy racing schedule to give us guided tours of his race shop and museum. That same weekend he had the NSX GT3 race at Sonoma but he still took time to show us around. Anyone here that is a Honda fan should consider a visit to see his collection.
As they say pics are worth a thousand words, so I'll shut up and just share some pics here, enjoy!
If you guys want to see more let me know and I'll get the second set uploaded later...
First pic with the man himself, this was at Road America:
Money shot of the Real Time Museum, there was no s2000 when we were there but heard they just added a super clean GPW AP1 s2000 to the collection:
Classic Honda:
1 of 3 Type-R in his collection:
Some really cool Honda race cars with a Honda limo in the back:
Peter sharing more info on his collection:
This is one of two race trucks they had going to CA when we were there - we got to check out the inside too:

That is James Robinson, one of the two brothers that drives the Pikes Peak cars (he and Nick Robinson pilot these cars and work at Honda R&D.
I got super lucky to get to go for hot laps with James during NSXPO last year at Sebring. His driving skill combined with the race-prepped NSX was a life changing experience and really SOLD me on the performance platform of this new car!
