hey what kind of front lip is that? and where did you get it!? $$$$?
So its more than just a lip splitter it also acts as a skid plate.
The turn buckles going through the frame; the lip can support me jumping up and down on it (260lbs).
It is adjustable and at full angle can produce enough down force to cause the rear end to become loose in a straight line hard break if the rear spoiler is removed.
The total cost was about $75 for the materials and only took about 2 hrs to cut it and bolt on.
The main weight of the plate is supported by two aluminum rods that bolt to the upper radiator support beam and to the CG of the plate.
The entire piece is also bolted along the lower section of the front bumper to increase the rigidity of the front bumper structure. The lip splitter/skid plate saved my front bumper from a possum.
I hit him going 75mph and the lip splitter cut his head in half at the jaw line no joke.
I go the Idea from a buddy in my local car club. And then we did up the design work to get this to work on 3 of the all out track cars we have in the club that are still daily drivers.
About 3 months after I put this on There was a post in the forum that had some picture from Nuremburg showing a S2k that had something similar installed on there race car.
There version did not look like it was adjustable from the pictures.
smrlsvtec what size are you rims I was thinking of getting some Volks
I would love to get a 235 on the front but would settle for 225 and 285 or a 275 on the rear (my rear fenders are rolled so there is plenty of room)

I have yet to snap any good shots of my Rio s2k cuz of the lousy weather but I will post some pics up this weekend. My Work Meister gunmetal rims won't be here for at least another 2 months
here's my teaser pic of "work in progress"
