Since the SEARCH functions isn't working can you guys post up you radar setups? Esp the ones that are hard wired. I am interested to see where you guys are actually placing the radars on the windsheild.
it's a passport 8500 x50. it isn't wired in the pic, but it shows where i have it placed. i'm hardwiring it soon; the wire will run between the dash and windshield then down to the fuse box.
Mounted up against the windscreen with a couple small pieces of MDF, (yes, the windscreen still folds down) ran the power off the DC adapter, put the fuse in the vent behind the passenger seat, the hardwire tucks away in the compartment if I take it out. Ran the line for the the remote box to the heater controls. the V1
