I am particularly interested in how people may have mounted the FM modulated units like the starmate and sportster.

I wanted mine just to the right of the vent controls mounted on the dash but they couldn't make it work. I went with it stuck to the windshield all the way to the left, not bad.

Thanks, I am trying to minimize cables and such and also not take up too much windshield space (as its limited already).

Anyone do anything fancy?

I have mine under the passenger seat with velco tape to the carpet. I ran the wire along the door and under the carpet.
