Default Pics of my MY00 SS

It's been a while since i have been active on the forums but with the kids a little older now, i can get back into driving and try shooting the S a little more often. Comments welcome as i am a newb at shooting/editing cars.

Thanks. I used a Nikon D800 with a 16-35 and a 70-200 to shoot these. But any DSLR would have been able to capture these images.

Nice lens. I have a d7000 and i was looking to upgrade to a d750.
I was also looking for that 70-200 ... help to make very nice blurred background !!

I really like the composition, the sky of the second picture !

I also have a D7000, which would have been fine for still images like cars. Its actually got a very very decent DR and the ability to recover information at base ISO is pretty stout. I do find the AF a bit lacking for quick moving subjects (ie, kids). The D750 is a great "do it all" camera and is enough camera for 99.9% of us out there. The body is a very small piece of the equation but there are advantages to full frame, primarily for background blur (crop factor) and low light. Lenses is where its at and you should be spending your money there. The 70-200 is an awesome portrait lens and a must have if you shoot portraits. The 16-35 is a good lens for the effects/architecture stuff but i havn't found much use for it outside of that. The distortion at the wide end is not very pleasant for people. What do you primarily shoot?
