I'm a 33" waist, was 34" when I first sat in an RS-G. It was snug, but I thought the fit was absolutely perfect. If you're getting a bucket seat and you want it to fit snug and actually do what a bucket seat is supposed to do, this is the first I'd go with.

@AE_racer the only difference between RS-G and RS-GS is material used.

I think when they spec'd out the measurements for these, they must have used a model of a naked Japanese man. I'm a 30/31 and the RSG was REALLY snug with any and all types of clothing (disclaimer: I never tried it in the nude). Unless all you do is track the car, I don't see why comfort would need to be sacrificed to that degree. It's perfect if you DO intend to use it that much OR you're on the low end of the waist specs.

That said, the seat was incredibly high quality and surprisingly plush for a straight bucket seat. That red trim looks SO nice

yes they used a small Japanese man for measurements lol. im a size 34 waist and these are just a little more tight on the bottom than my recaro spg's. the shoulder area does have a little more room

Lol idk how some of you guys think it's uncomfortable. VW got a wide back and like I said I was. 34" waist when I say in it. It was snug but really the most comfortable seat I've ever sat in (and I definitely wasn't naked lol)
