Sorry to necro this post, but want to add a tip: make sure you tape the bottom edge of your radio door as well.
Otherwise, when you go to put the door back in, you WILL chip the paint at the bottom edge (e.g. see the pic in s2krayz' post above, #74 - mine was even worse). The good thing is it won't be visible when you install the door back in the car, but it's an easy step to tape it off and prevent any damage at all.
Also, when you try to put the spring back in, make sure you have the correct side (one side is ever-so-slightly longer) pointing upwards so that it seats into the little niche in the radio frame/trim.
If you put in the shorter side, it will snap back the moment you close the door, and no longer be able to spring the door back out (you'll have to remove the door and reset the spring again)
