Default Shine/Spoon hardtop hinge

Many of you have always wondered if the Spoon style hardtops came hinged or not. Well they are not hinged. So typically when you have to access the trunk you have to remove the rear section and set it aside, and I can tell you from experience if you drop the rear section it will not like it.

So I came up with a solution and after many MANY unsuccessful hinges. built a simple and effective hinge for the rear section of my Shine Hardtop.

The rear section is supported by the trunk and everything stays up for ease of use. It takes about 30 seconds on undo the inside thumb screws to release the rear section of the HT.

i'll take some more photos tomorrow of the hinge itself. Its insanely basic yet works well, best of all it required no modification to the HT at all for installation.
