Default Some new pics...

Got an OEM hardtop a week or so ago, thought I'd share some pictures!

Buddy of mine helped me with the whole install (putting in the hardware and helping me adjust the top in my garage):

Next thing to install when I get some free time:

My friend who helped me with the install and his clean AP2 (getting dark, so pics came out blurry):

Thanks for looking

EDIT: Here are some really old pics of my hatch for those that were wondering what it looks like:

It hasn't been out of my garage in 2 years. Waiting for a free weekend to take it out for some track action

Oh, and before everyone asks, the Ferrari is not a 355, it's a 348 Challenge. Luca Di Montezemolo (now head of the FIAT/Ferrari empire) called it one of the worst Ferraris ever made, but for some people, a crap Ferrari is better than no Ferrari at all, especially when they want to project a certain image to others. It was my brother-in-law's before it flew off a tow truck after a track day and was totalled.

He replaced it with this:

Personally, I'd never want a Ferrari. Just isn't my style. I love my Hondas Although I have to say the V8 in the 348 sounded nice as did the V12 in the 456GT.

So how hard is this to do for an average slub like me?
How long did it take?

Just wondering 'cause this is something I would like to have and darn if I'm going to have my local dealership do it.

By the way it looks sweet

I'm assuming you're talking about the hardware install for the hardtop? My friend had already done it before on his own S so he was pretty quick when it came to mine. The whole hardware install plus hardtop fitting took about an hour and a half. It probably would have been even faster but he also had to swap hardware from the person selling me the top onto my car and putting stock pieces back onto his.

I think you could do it on your own. You'll just need someone to help you lift the top onto the car when everything's done.

I'm really glad I got help for it though because it's been the "biggest" mod I've gotten for the car to date and I didn't want to mess anything up!

Actually, I've been meaning to get a mobile tint guy to drop by my house to remove the rear window tint on the hardtop. I'm actually not a big tint fan, but I bought the top like that, so just going to run with it for now.
