Tedster's Red #7457
Ray,
damn, I thought those wheel looked familiar! I don't think I ever met you at that autocross... Yup, top's down unless it's raining (and I don't mean a little sprinkle, either). Like one review of the S2000 said, "If the top's up, the storm outside better have a name."
Greg,
thanks! As we all know, red is the best color! SIR has a great sequence of turns, really fun elevation changes, and is very challenging and fun, but it is a DUMP! The owners don't maintain it at all, it doesn't have much in the way of runoff areas, and the straight is loaded with HVT for the draggers, so it's like greased ice in the rain. Yes, it was a blast!
Rodney,
thanks! Last October my wife and I drove from Seattle down the coast to Crater Lake, Yosemite, Monterey, Laguna Seca, San Francisco, and back up the coast. We also checked out the coast redwoods and drove dune buggies on the Oregon dunes. Unfortunately this was before I had the S2000, but it was still a great trip.
jaysonx,
yeah, we had long underwear, polar fleece, leather, gloves, hats, mufflers, and the heat was blasting. If only we had the Rick Hesel model areo screen!

That snowy pic is really great. The red stands out on the black and white background so well. Really like the sunset pic as well. You have a nac with the camera. Or it could just be that i'm partial to any pic with an S2000 in it.
