This ginormous thread is dedicated to my project build of the TracySports S2000 sponsored by Bulletproof Automotive. Built by TrackTime Performance. Tires courtesy of Toyo Tires. In July 2006, I drew out a design for the build and final product:
My mechanic refused to build my project by tearing up the yellow Mugen car. Talked to macspeed from Louisiana and purchased the donor car in August 2006.
New Formula Red Car: Donor car
Spa Yellow Car: Parts car
So my mechanic starts to tear apart the red S in September 2006
In the meantime, Ben delivers the early Xmas gifts
TracySports fiberglass widebody kit (front aero, fenders, quarterpanels, rear aero, front/rear canards, sideskirt)
Tommy hooks me up with Toda ITBs. Includes Toyota AE101 TPS, Nismo FPR.
Ben gets me wheels with FREE shoes from Toyo Tires. Yes, the tire choice is controversial, but I'm not one to turn away free stuff.
ASM CF doors
I swapped out the ASM CF trunk from the yellow to the red car
ASM GT-05 wing. Beautiful. Too bad it didn't fit on the project car thanks to the Mooncraft top. And it looks ugly on my Mugen S and Civic Hybrid.
Ben delivers on more stuff (TracySports header, Mugen RollCage with Cage Cover, J's Racing/Endless BBK)
Testfitting the ASM CF doors
Spoon/Mooncraft top and Mugen cage
Goes to LA Conversions for paint
Stratocaster works on the Spoon/Showa coilovers and J's Racing BBK
Toda ITBs and TracySports header reassembled
ASM/Mugen Multivision Meter, Mugen steering Boss, Spoon/Momo steering wheel
