i just sold my black 02 s2k a few months ago. now i got a spa 03.

im going to be building an amuse s2k (non widebody) using all the original specs.

im just undecided weather i should stick with spa to make the look of it a little different. or paint it imola and build it to exactly how it should look.

what do you guys think.

 

I think imola would look way better, but i'm not sure if I would personally justify the cost. I love the way that color looks though. You also might want to post a pic of the car so this doesn't get moved.

 

i was in this color change dilemma a few weeks ago, i was going to paint my car spa...but being that my father owns a body shop and i know how to paint, the cost would be zero...it is a ton of work and to do it right, you have to have the ambition to make every little thing perfect...cost is an issue as well (4-5k)but if you can afford it, go for it

 

I think Spa is a beautiful color (I'm biased ), but I think with your mods the Imola would look HOT.

 

I would only paint it if you do the job correctly. ALL Imola (engine bay, door jams, etc). But with that said, painting would be $$$...
I vote for the Imola, but if it were me, on my income, I dont think I could justify it. But then again I wouldnt have bought a Spa in the first place.

If it were a different color (NFR, LBP, Suzuka, etc.) I would say make an Amuse Spec car with that... But with Spa, Imma vote for Imola! Sorry, dont mean to offend anyone!

 

If you have got the cash to do it right (paint EVERYTHING), I say go with New Imola. Its not common in the states and looks amaaaazzzing.
