heya guys, i'm sorta making a request here, but done anyone have pics of a NFR with seats, door trims and centre console trim re-done in ivory or cream leather, with the rest remaining black (carpets, armrest, dash etc)?

i've been contemplating doing this for a while to brighten up my interior - but i want to see what it might look like first. don't want there to be too much contrast between the black bits and the light bits.

thanks!

just realized there is an interiors' thread...

has anyone reupholstered their seats to a better quality leather and or the door panels?

just looking to get some comments / thoughts and an idea of costs... am looking to get a smoother leather for the seats in black. i do like the pin holes in the oem seats and may or may not do the door panels and armrest (depends on how well the leather matches the pleather door panel inserts).

I did. All I did was install the parts after they were recovered, I did not do any of the upholstery work.

Including my new headliner the interior is now up to $2600 (I think).

We generally charge $65 per panel when we do seat repairs but if you're wanting to recover the entire seat, you'd more than likely be looking into the $700-$800 range. Maybe more, just depends.

For trim shops, the Clazzio seat covers are our worst enemy because seat covers can't be made for anywhere close to what they sell for. $300 or so would be us losing money and cutting our throat. The down side is that they are not manufactured to your individual seat and trim shops can offer that.

If you want something fairly cheap and that looks decent go for those, because you will spend the $$$ if you get them done from a trim shop like us.
