Default Alcantara Door Insert Alternatives

Hello everyone, recently picked up a yellow S2000 and was thinking of revamping the interior a bit - I would love to do some sort of alcantara or suede on the door inserts, center console, etc, but was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews on Redline Goods' offerings - I've been searching around, but it seems like a lot of the alternatives that people seem to recommend have since closed up shop - does anyone have any more recent experience/thoughts on this subject?

Also since I'm on the topic of interiors, I did a little searching and it seems like there aren't any pictures floating around of the Clazzio yellow seat covers, I'd love to do the yellow center, but am a bit concerned about making sure it matches color-wise haha.

Anyways, thanks for your input, Ronan

Coincidentally, I'm having my door panels re-upholstered with the redline goods alcantara panels; I also picked up their e-brake cover and leather tunnel cover. I'll update you with my opinion and pictures when it's done.

Any updates on this? I'm also thinking of doing an alcantara reupholster of the interior.

Unfortunately not from my end, the door panels require the use of adhesive, and since my existing doors are in fairly good condition I'm waiting to find a junkyard set I can do the alcantara insert on. Fingers crossed it will be sometime this summer, but I'm also finishing up grad school so time is at a premium.

They did mine several years ago, the link showing the black panels are mine, they were done back in 2018.

@sam_spider - how have they held up ? I bought an alcantara shift boot and elbow rest from them recently and the quality and service was excellent.

Any photos you can post installed in the car ?

Look the same now as they did when they finished them, zero issues. I don't drive my car much, but they're perfect.

I'll have to look and see if I've got any decent pics of them in the car, hard to take decent pics of a black car with a black interior

Might be some in my timeline/build thread - https://www.s2ki.com/forums/automoti...hread-1111070/

^ Meh, looks like I haven't taken any pics of the door panels since putting them in. Crap. Sorry, I'll see if I can take a couple.
