Best sound deadening for road noise etc
Whats the best sound deadening for road noise etc.
I currently dont have a convertible top anymore and have no trunk interior parts.
I plan on swapping my seats back to stock and want to install some sound deadening of some kind. I can hear a ton of road noise and exhaust etc.
I plan on quieting my exhaust down some with resonators as well.

Been there, done that. Lots of research. Happy, actually very happy with the results.

Usually it can be found at professional shops (stereo/alarm/NVH) sometimes online. I received samples of various types (used them all) directly from 3M as a goodwill gesture in return for a write up to them. You may contact them directly especially the Honda/Acura industry rep. Felt like I was back in school doing a term paper!

Both are smell free and of similar quality. B-Quiet was, at the time of my purchase, less expensive. I thought it was easy to cut and apply. Absolutely no smell at all. (Smell is a big deal for other less expensive brands)
When I got my B-Quiet it was a little thinner than the Dynamat Extreme. I could have done a double layer and still saved money but you don't need to. When you check out technical information especially relating to autos, the B-Quiet does a great job. Plus, it is easier to apply than the thicker Dynamat. Weighs less too for similar coverage. You do not need 100% coverage for it to do its job. I did in some places for thermal reasons.
